Inspired by highly effective pocket knives he saw that were used to cut steaks in his restaurants, Michelin Star Chef, Yves Charles designed the 9.47 in order to create performance-driven, but traditionally made steak knives that actually work. Simple but elegant, effective but easy to care for, these highly acclaimed steak knives elevate any meal.
"9.47" was the alcohol content of the wine being generously imbibed during the evening Yves and colleagues came up with the concept of the knives.
